Hi Friends,
Since our last letter, Deva & Miten, as usual, have been touring non stop, with sold-out appearances in Costa Rica, Canada, Scandinavia, and Germany. Most recently, they played at the first annual International Angel Convention in Hamburg, and at the Rainbow Spirit Festival in Baden Baden, for audiences of over 1,000.
With love and thanks for your continuing support and interest in the work of Deva and Miten,
The Prabhu Music Team
We want to remind all English friends that Deva and Miten will be giving their only UK concerts this year at London's beautiful Shaw Theatre, June 10 at 3 pm and 7:30 pm, followed by a Voice Celebration workshop at TriYoga Studio on June 11. There are still some tickets available.
They will be bringing two great musicians with them: Manose (from Nepal) on bansuri, and Rainer Scheurenbrand (Germany), on classical nylon string guitar and mandolin.

Hi Beloved Friends,
Namaste.
This tour has been an amazing experience - we have been so warmly welcomed wherever we played. Manose accompanied us every step of the way, and has been a constant source of joy. His music, of course, is a wonder, and his playful and loving presence on the road have been nothing short of inspirational.
We have great memories of every concert, but one especially sweet moment stands out: During the concert in Copenhagen, Deva happened to mention that it was the 25th anniversary of her becoming a disciple of her guru, Osho, and at the conclusion of the concert, the audience spontaneously broke out into the Danish version of 'Happy Birthday to you!' It was just so beautiful to hear the whole audience - with no prompting - sing for her!
In Stockholm, Sweden, we had the pleasure of meeting up with our favourite mantra singer, Snatam Kaur, and her partner GuruGanesha, on tour from the USA.
A nice surprise: We have just been invited by top English BBC radio DJ Johnny Walker to appear on his show while we're in London. Johnny discovered Deva's album Love Is Space and has been playing tracks from it and Dakshina ever since. We'll have a chat with Johnny on the show, and will sing live. Last week, the Dixie Chicks did the same thing - and before that, the Eagles, Jackson Browne and Bonny Raitt did too, so we're in good company! (The show airs on BBC Radio2 Sundays at 5 pm, and can also be heard online during the broadcast and for the next week.)
The sound track for this year's tour has been Gondwana's album, This is Crucial Reggae and Rainer Scheurenbrand's yet-to-be-released album, Jardim. Also Marlui Miranda's classic album Todos os Sons...Don't miss the chance to see this amazing artist when she tours Europe in July, along with our good friend Ravi. Reading material: Meditation and Mantras by Swami Vishnu Devananda, Gandhi's autobiography, Brother Ray by Ray Charles & David Ritz, and The Viha Connection.
See you all soon!
With love,
from the road,
Deva and Miten
