"This is an extraordinary album, and the reasons why it took some time to create become evident as you listen, soaring along on the waves of inspired artistry.
Fly high!"

"Your newest CD Soul In Wonder is so sublime, it's been weaving its way into my soul for the last three weeks. It's breathtakingly beautiful. For me, the most exquisite of all of your oh-so-exquisite CDs.
"The way you weave together prayers, with chants, over-laying them with soaring western music is probably the most sublime mixing and arranging I've ever heard.
"Always your voices carry so much Grace, but on this CD, Miten, I've never heard such tenderness and love pour so redolently in the resonance of your voice--of anyones's voice, for that matter. Truly God has found a way to sing itself.
"Thank you for allowing all our souls to rise in wonder."

"As a journalist, there are few times when I am rendered speechless. Listening to Miten, accompanied by his life partner Deva Premal offer up heart wisdom in the form of song and story in the newly released CD Soul in Wonder, had that impact on me.
"Now that I have regained my ability to express, it comes through me to say that this CD is a constant companion in my car, I play it in a workshop I offer and the participants clamor to know "Who is that?" and recently in my role as an interfaith minister, I played two of the pieces Fly High and Free Spirit (Ashes to Ashes) during the memorial service for the father of another minister. All who were present were deeply moved by the music.
"The Van Morrison song Inarticulate Speech of the Heart would be a lovely wdding accompaniment as well. The Sanskrit chants Twameva and Lokah Samasta, familiar to me as a practicing yogini, transport me as if on a magic carpet.
"Through the Eyes of An Angel is Miten's unabashedly sentimental tribute to his beloved Deva whose cloudless sky-blue eyes indeed had me mesmerized when we met back stage at a concert this year. Fly High and Awakening often have me singing at the top of my lungs, left arm 'breezing' out the window as I drive. The soaring sounds of the Bansuri flute played by Nepalese flautist Manose, add a touch of magic that tickles the ear and the heart.
"Deva and Miten are indeed Souls in Wonder, welcoming other Souls to sing along. This CD (and, in truth, all of the others they have created) is a must have for your collection if you are inclined to enjoy music that transcends genre. "

"Miten, your beautiful song Through The Eyes Of An Angel, is addictive and should come with some kind of a health and safety warning. Seriously though, it really touches me, I listen to it, sing it, hum it, and often it is a reminder in my daily life, to see things through the eye of an angel."

"Also, just another word of gratitude for the penetrating beauty of your song Humaniversal, which I could listen to on repeat forever. My little sister Devi is adopted into our family from Calcutta where she was abandoned as a baby on the streets. . . amazingly her karma was to find her way to us, but I know she could have just as easily been the little girl in your song. . .
I love how your music not only opens my heart and my spirit, but also inspires me with a gentle call to action, to remember the places and people in the world we might otherwise forget. . . You got it just right!" -USA |

"When I was up in Marina del Rey with you this past weekend, I asked myself if I wanted your new release (great term for a musical effort, huh?) You had shared a bunch of tunes from it with me, so why bother?
"Boy, am I glad that I listened to my "second-mind" and bought it. It is magnificent, Old Friend. I realize that I don't have many of your older works (I don't know that person, the Miten from those years; hard to equate maybe), but from what I do own, this is as fine a piece of work as any in my collection. Whatever you were in days long gone by, this is a beautiful expression of the man I know today."

"Today I got the Soul In Wonder, what a wonderful gift! The melodies for me are like lights. When I listen to the songs those lights enfold me and touch my heart soft and deep....
"Thank you for everything, especially that your music touches me at the certain point so that I enjoy for some moments being one with everything!
"I'm so happy that Fly High is on the CD. And my favorite part: the first one in Lokah Samasta.
"Wonderful...Om shanti...."

"After returning from your voice celebration, listening to Soul In Wonder all the way home, I walked down to the lake near our home and listened as the evening continued the singing... the crickets and birds accompanied the darkening water and sky, and the clouds above the mountains flashed pink/orange with diffused lightning. I am still overflowing with gratitude and joy for the gift of your music -- and, even more, for the gift of how you express your beautiful souls -- which is why your music opens our hearts.
"Soul In Wonder is well worth the wait. I am so delighted to have it at last, and I've been listening to it again and again since I got it at the concert on Friday. I want to mention each of my favorites, and tell you all the things I love about each of them, but that would make my long-winded email even longer. I must say, however, that Free Spirit (Ashes To Ashes) touches me so deeply. I love your guitar playing, Miten, and the words are so beautiful, and Through the Eyes of an Angel, and Twameva, and Awakening, and Fly High/Om Shree Rama (the mandolin is so perfect on that!) Oh, there I go, the truth is that I love them all! Thank you for creating such beautiful music together, as always.
"I love the way you each move forward and back in all your music, taking the lead, supporting the other, blending and intertwining your voices, instruments, and energies. And it is wonderful to have Manose with you, on the road and in your recordings...he is a treasure.
"....You help me see my own divinity through the lens of my admiration for you both - your openness and humility, your humanity and humor, and the way your music and actions invite awareness of our oneness...
"We are awakening
To this perfect imperfection
Celebrating in the oneness of it all
Everybody here
Part of each other
Rising in love"
