Byron Bay/Brisbane

hi friends – i promised myself no more blogs – but can't resist sharing these pix.
they're from our first concert of the year, in byron bay.
we hired a great multi-media artist, named 'tone' (that's all i know – apart from the fact that he's 'japanese bharti's' boyfriend and has been for several years).
anyway, with the addition of maneesh de moor in the ranks, we decided to use the time down under to experiment.

here's the result.

we took the whole thing to brisbane for our concert at the powerhouse.
three times bigger than the byron bay venue- it gave us space to stretch out...in every sense (that's esra catching some zzz's during sound check)

at last sound checks begin to be fun

the annual blues harp solo from baba – with manose's approval, of course

our sound tech kamal, luckily for us he's a perfectionist – here he is, listening for things nobody else can hear

baba supplied the beautiful nataraj statue

and the celebration happens by itself...

along with effortless meditation – bubbles of light from the buddhahead

well, there you go - you get the idea.
we recorded all three concerts so you'll be hearing the difference soon!

ps - deva's mom, viten is with us.
her first time down under, we invited her to come and celebrate her 80th birthday with us.
she is very loved by everyone who meets her
