Moscow

hi friends

moscow really deserves a blog of its own
our biggest concert so far – russian promoters, usha and veet mano - had booked us into the city's premier rock venue – crocus city hall

mc_01

although we didn't fill the venue [6000 seats!] almost 4000 people came to chant with us
we felt in some small way, we were making history together:
when else, in the whole history of moscow, have so many people gathered to chant sanskrit mantras?

mc_02

these pix give an idea of the scale of the hall

mc_04

on our visit to moscow in 2010 we met heavy metal guitarist, sergej visokosov when he came to our concert

mc_05

that he would come to a mantra concert touched our hearts

so much so, that when we returned this year, we invited him to join us on stage for the tibetan mantra om benza satto hung.

mc_06

he played so beautifully we invited him back for ilumina and deeper...!
